When high potential women struggle to find the words to speak up for themselves, I give them the communications tools they need to lead on a new level.
Many women expect their stellar work to speak for itself. Or worse, they expect colleagues, subordinates and even their superiors to read their minds. But in today’s work environment being able to use your voice, speak up, and communicate effectively is critical to advancing.
With the diversity of the workplace, we’re interacting more and more with people who think, feel, and respond differently than we do. To manage a diverse workforce, you need new tools to understand those you work with and respond appropriately in any situation.
I’m certified in a number of tools including Myers Briggs, Strong Interest Inventory, and Social Emotional Intelligence. In my work as an executive coach; I leverage these tools to equip women to verbalize their thoughts and ideas, stand up for themselves, and manage confrontation.
Whether you need to share out in a team meeting in order to take credit for your project contributions, confront a team member who isn’t pulling their weight, or set an inappropriate colleague straight - the ability to have crucial conversations is a required skill to reach the next level.
When it’s time to make the case for a raise or move your career forward, you’ll need to speak up. When you find yourself in a new leadership scenario, you’ll need to speak up. When you inherit a new team or a difficult team member, you’ll need to speak up.
I am here to help you find and use your voice so you can set expectations, set boundaries, and ultimately set yourself up for success!
